Pass through the columned entryway, ascend the entry staircase, and notice the beautiful wood floors.  The coat closet at the top of the stairs is just the first of many conveniences.  Follow the hallway to the rear of the home, where the social spaces meet under an impressive vaulted ceiling.

The kitchen is a home chef’s dream, with high-end stainless-steel appliances including a 6-burner Wolf gas range, Bosch refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, and even a wine refrigerator.  Storage space on floating shelves and in cabinets abounds, and there’s plenty of room to prepare elaborate recipes on the large island and surrounding counters.

Enjoy your meal at the breakfast bar, or move into the adjacent dining area, where you are treated to views of the home’s outdoor spaces.  This flows into the living area, featuring built-in shelving and tall windows, the perfect place to entertain or just relax.  Put your favorite music on the built-in Sonos audio system shared by the social rooms and reflect on the good life!

3 bedrooms are located at the front of the home. The primary suite invites you to rest beneath a coved ceiling, and do the same in the sensational spa-like bathroom, featuring brass-accented geometric marble tiles which recall Art Deco.  Enjoy the luxury of the heated floor and shower bench, the spacious dual-sink oak vanity with large mirror, and the dual showerheads.

The second bedroom includes a large closet and a window seat, the perfect place to greet the morning with a mug of something warm.  The third bedroom also includes a window seat and a closet, which doubles as a discreet office nook.  A laundry closet and a second updated full bath, featuring a luxurious soaking tub, complete this level.

Step out onto the private deck outside the dining area, where beautiful citrus trees are easily maintained by drip irrigation.  Follow the stairs down to the shared backyard, especially charming under café lights in the evening.  The beautiful citrus trees are easily maintained by drip irrigation.  Use the grill to prepare something special, or just kick back in one of the chairs near the fire pit and be grateful that you’re home!

about this

Neighborhood

Lower Pacific Heights offers home buyers a stylish, upscale-feeling neighborhood bolstered by an approachable, casual attitude. Within the confines of these blocks, you'll find Japantown, the oldest and largest such enclave in the United States. From the spectacle of the Peace Plaza pagoda to the grandeur of St. Dominic's Church, it really seems there's something here for everyone. This area is a shopper's delight, with bustling commercial centers along both Fillmore and Steiner streets. The Japan Center mall is a mecca for all things Japanese. When it comes time to eat, the possibilities are endless. Evenings see the streets fill with patrons looking to dine at one of many gastronomic destinations, or music fans lining up at the Boom Boom Room and the adjacent historic Fillmore Theater. Sundance Kabuki Cinema is a welcome addition to the neighborhood; as the largest independent theater in the city, the Kabuki screens first run features and plays host to a number of film festivals, attracting cinephiles from all over the Bay Area. The neighborhood is home to an interesting mix of classic Victorian homes and mid-rise condo developments. As throughout much of the city, you'll find wonderful diversity among your neighbors. You can get a picture of the sense of community that exists in this diverse pocket of the city each April during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Freeway access has been greatly improved in recent years thanks to the completion of the Octavia corridor freeway entrance, opening up the area to south and east bay commuters. If you'd like to dip your toes into the Northside life, Lower Pacific Heights is a great place to begin your search.
